That evening Russell tells me he found a poor abandoned kitten in the street, Russell tried to take the kitten to his home, but his cats are only 1 year old and very territorial and were attacking the kitten, so he had to find a home for it. I said Ron would kill me if I brought her home.

The next day I was thinking about it, our cats are old and I am kind of worried one may die, and then the other may get depression, so maybe introducing a 3rd into our home might be a good idea.

We called Russell and agreed to go see the kitty. The rest of course, is obvious.

It took a few days to name her as we wanted to see what her personality told us about her. Of course, being a kitten she is full of energy and bounces off the walls, going gonzo all day, so we called her Gonzalita. Gonzalo is a man’s name but there is no Gonzala for a girl, we kind of made it up and our friends think it’s a cute name, we have to agree!
