When your partner makes the world's best carrot cake, there's no use trying to learn to do it better, it can't be done!

I love seeing him do his craft in our kitchen.

Ron made the cake on the 23rd and this is the 24th, his BDay. He wanted a picture before he cut into it. Our neighbor Doris' BDay is also today, so before making dinner I took her and her daughter Chris down 2 pieces to share on their joint birthdays.

Life is a bit crazy in 2020, but we're still enjoying it the best we can. Cheers! To life!

Ron's masterpiece, his best one EVER!

The crazy red and green lights are from a laser light show thingy my mother gave us a few years ago. We turn it on at dinner time every night to remind us of her.

I bought a selection of premium wines a month ago and I saved the most expensive to have with Ron's BDay. This one was about $26 USA and it was delicious and went perfectly with the meal.

A week after Ron's birthday and there is still some cake left, he cut me a piece to have with my morning coffee, HOW COULD I RESIST??  I'm only human!  It's SOOOOOO GOOD!
