We had some free time after lunch to do some shopping in the Yang Shuo village. It was pretty hot and we were sitting on a park bench along the river to rest when a young man approached us with a book in his hand. I was thinking we were being setup for a pick pocket attempt, but it turns out the boy just wanted to ask us some questions on English. The kid’s English was pretty advanced and his questions were complicated grammar questions that I wasn’t able to really explain well. |
